Ted Harrison Rink at Phillips Academy

Project Summary

A 59,000 square foot arena in northern Massachusetts presented to the owner as a “Design Build” collaborative between ProCon Construction, Harold W. Mayhew RA, AIA and Centerline Architects. The commission was granted after successfully winning a “Design Build” competition. The building is constructed with structural metal sandwich panels bearing on a reinforced concrete foundation. The building is designed for two ice sheets, 4 home team rooms, 8 visiting team rooms, a training room, a manager’s office, 2 lobbies and many other amenities.

The facility has quickly become a favorite among the community.
